The Principality of Ruhnu is a micronation that acknowledges the sovereignty of the Republic of Estonia.

This election is a cultural and educational exercise within our micronation community.

Election Day Information

Election Day: June 21, 2025

First polls close at 6 pm EEST

Citizens and registered residents of the Principality of Ruhnu can cast their votes through our secure online voting system throughout election day.

The election uses a simple majority system where the candidate receiving the most votes will be appointed as Prime Minister by H.R.H. Prince Alvar I.

Prime Minister Election

The Prime Minister serves as the head of government in the Principality of Ruhnu's micronational parliamentary system. Working alongside H.R.H. Prince Alvar I, the Prime Minister leads the Cabinet and is responsible for implementing the cultural, educational, and community initiatives of our micronation.

This election represents an opportunity for members of our community to participate in the governance of our micronation and contribute to its development as a cultural project celebrating Ruhnu's unique heritage.

How to Vote

Eligible voters can participate in the election through the following methods:

  • Online Voting: Access the secure voting portal with your citizen or resident credentials
  • Eligibility: All citizens and registered residents aged 16 and above can vote
  • Voting Period: Polls are open throughout June 21, 2025, with first polls closing at 6 pm EEST
  • Results: Official results will be announced on June 23, 2025
