The Principality of Ruhnu is a micronation that acknowledges the sovereignty of the Republic of Estonia.

Elections within our micronation are cultural and educational exercises that do not claim official governmental authority.

Democratic Participation

The Principality of Ruhnu, as a micronation, is committed to democratic principles and community participation. Our elections provide an opportunity for citizens and residents to engage in the governance of our cultural project and contribute to the development of our shared vision.

While H.R.H. Prince Björke I serves as our ceremonial head of state, elected officials work alongside the monarchy to implement initiatives that celebrate Ruhnu's unique heritage and foster community engagement.
